Professor Caryn Zinn PhD, Professor of Nutrition, NZ Registered Dietician

Caryn Zinn is a Professor of Nutrition at AUT and a New Zealand Registered Dietitian with over 25 years of experience in nutrition research and practice. Her work focuses on whole-food nutrition and holistic lifestyle strategies in the context of metabolic health.

A recognised leader in therapeutic carbohydrate reduction, Caryn is Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Metabolic Health, a Director of the New Zealand Metabolic Health Charitable Trust, WholeNZ and co-author of the best-selling What the Fat? series. Her work continues to influence clinical practice and public health nutrition globally.
