AMHS responds to South Australia’s Live Lighter campaign

Preventative Health South Australian made changes to the 2025 Live Lighter campaign and accompanying resources in response to concerns raised by the AMHS policy team.

• The LiveLighter campaign messaging on red meat and saturated fats was amended in response to an AMHS open letter highlighting incorrect statements based on outdated science. PHSA provided a public response to the AMHS points raised.
