Professor Karen Dwyer  MBBS, PhD, FRACP, FASLM 

Professor Dwyer is the Director of Nephrology and Kidney Care at Royal Melbourne Hospital. She has earned her PhD from the University of Melbourne and completed postdoctoral research at Harvard University.

With extensive leadership experience in medicine and kidney health, Professor Dwyer is also a passionate advocate for gender equity in transplantation. She has authored over 120 research articles and received numerous awards. Currently, she serves as Chairperson of the AMHS.
